Saint-Pierre Market

THE big weekly event

This is the largest market in Calvados and Caen, with 400 traders present every Sunday. Located on the Quai Vendeuvre, it attracts up to 20,000 people on sunny days!
Food products, flowers, local crafts... at the Place Saint-Pierre market, you're sure to find what you're looking for. With a setting worthy of a postcard: the marina, the cries of the seagulls, and the patter of the vendors haranguing the crowd.

An iconic market in Caen

Every Friday morning, 150 traders take over the oldest square in the city. Here again, the choice is vast.
A must-see is the cheese stands to taste Norman specialties: Camembert, Livarot, Neufchâtel, etc.
Don't miss the fishmongers' stalls and their morning catch. Nor those of the local market gardeners who sell their week's produce.

More confidential, these markets are no less charming and typical.
The Guérinière market brings together around sixty traders on Thursdays. On Tuesdays, head to Rue de Bayeux - 30 stalls - or to the Grâce-de-Dieu market, Place du Commerce.
Do you eat organic? It is on the Saint-Paul market, on the church square, that you will find your happiness.
A dozen vendors are present every week: market gardeners, cider seller, fishmonger… And even a food truck.
