A bucolic escapade in the gardens of Caen

Fancy a stroll in the heart of magnificent French gardens?

Go to the Parc Michel-d'Ornano, also known as the gardens of the Abbaye aux Dames. It is classified as a historical monument for its beautiful flowerbeds, its alleys of lime trees and its tumulus labyrinth.

Admire one of the most beautiful views of Caen and its bell towers by going to the cèdre du Liban hill! End the walk with the Jardin des Plantes with its 8000 plant species and the Jardin Botanique, a small paradise of flowers and rare plants.

 

Bike ride along the Orne canal

Then stop at the arboretum to discover 125 species of trees from all over the world.
