You can join the Avenue de Tourville greenway in Caen (at the level of the Pont de la Fonderie) and cross Caen on a lane entirely dedicated to cyclists. A walk in the middle of the city along the quays until you reach the start of the Avenue de Tourville greenway.
Entirely safe, this route will allow you to enjoy your ride in the heart of the city while you go up the Caen Canal. You will be able to admire the Château de Bénouville and the Pegasus Bridge, which played an essential role in the liberation of Caen by the Allied forces.
