At the Best Western Plus Le Moderne in Caen, we are continuing to upgrade our establishment with the complete renovation of our bathrooms, completed in April.
Through this ambitious project, we reaffirm our commitment to offering you a high-end experience, while promoting local expertise and our CSR commitments.
Designed by Caen-based architect Nicolas Guérin, our new bathrooms are part of the ongoing modernization work initiated in 2019.
From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere is captivating: marble-effect tiling, clean lines, and refined finishes create a space that is both chic and welcoming.
The custom-made washbasins, made in France, blend seamlessly into this refined setting.
A large round LED mirror, complemented by a magnifying mirror, provides soft, functional lighting designed for your everyday comfort.
To enhance your experience, we have selected the Euphoria range from German manufacturer Grohe. Its brushed gold finish adds a contemporary and elegant touch to the whole.
The rain shower, combined with a hand shower, offers a true moment of relaxation, perfect for unwinding at any time during your stay.
The Algotherm welcome products, supplied by Guilbert, a family-run business based in Caen, complete your experience. Formulated with natural, skin-friendly ingredients, they reflect our commitment to short supply chains and local expertise.

In line with our Green Key certification, we have prioritized durable materials and equipment designed to reduce water and energy consumption, such as controlled-flow taps and low-energy LED lighting.
Only 5 bathrooms in the hotel still feature a bathtub: 1 Executive, 1 Deluxe Triple, and 3 Superior rooms located on the 4th floor.
This renovation was also carried out in collaboration with local SMEs to showcase regional expertise and support the local economy.
