Clean hotel room, walkable location to much of the city, plenty of food options in the area, very friendly staff

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights to explore WW2 sights in Normandy. Pros: great location for shops and restaurants, easy access from train station, on-site parking garage, very comfy bed and friendly staff. Cons: we stayed here during the heat wave in June 2026 and we were unable to adjust the thermostat (it was set to 26c).

We were recently in the Normandy area and stayed in this hotel in Caen as our home base for all of our activities. This hotel was just perfect!! I LOVE the room lay-out (bathroom is separated from the main room by a little hallway) and the room decor was very nice and very clean. Also, the breakfast was delicious!! The employees at the front desk were super friendly and helpful-- we especially thought that Arielli (spelling?) and Roman went out of their way to help us and were eager to make sure that we got assistance when needed. This was my favorite hotel during our trip and we stayed in several hotels in France and England! I highly receommend this hotel if you plan to stay in Caen!
