Best Western Plus Le Moderne Caen
Three weeks in France and this was the best hotel by far. Spacious, comfortable room and bathroom. Good breakfast. Perfect central location. We stayed in Caen in order to take a D Day tour. It was a perfect location for that.
Great location, everything within walking distance. Nice room, the TV wasn't working, which was a shame. Good breakfast, overall service average.
I booked a Deluxe Room with a bathtub and was upgraded to a Triple Deluxe Room.
The bathtub was spacious, the bathroom very nice, and bathrobes were provided. The bed was comfortable, and the room was pleasant with everything you need, including a welcome tray, air conditioning, etc.
I found the €19 breakfast to be underwhelming. They didn't have the hotel's yogurt cake that was shown on TV, no spread for the pancakes (only jam and maple syrup), and the pancakes were too thick and bland.
If you arrive by car, all parking in the surrounding area is paid, whether on the street or in the hotel or Indigo parking garage.
The Iranian restaurant across the street is good; I recommend it. Don't hesitate to ask for cutlery!

A very central hotel, from where you can easily visit all the attractions. The room was very comfortable, but the highlight was the staff.
I forgot two rings and they contacted me to let me know.
They were very kind and efficient in finding a solution to get them back.
We'll definitely be back.
